The Albanese Government’s signature ‘Future Made in Australia’ (FMIA) policy, announced by the Prime Minister in April this year and forming a centre-piece of the 2024-25 Federal Budget, has two strands – one aimed at ensuring and accelerating Australia’s “transition to net zero”, and the other at boosting “economic resilience and security”.
